ABOUT

Adriana Cerrotti is a contemporary figurative artist working with paint and collage. Her work explores the tension between structure and disruption, combining painterly realism with fragmented and graphic interventions that interrupt and reorganize the image.

Born in Argentina, she began exhibiting in Buenos Aires, including at Centro Cultural Recoleta, before continuing her artistic practice internationally. Prior to her current work, she worked as a professional animator, developing a strong foundation in drawing, visual storytelling, and visual structure. She also holds a Master’s degree in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management, a background that continues to influence her interest in systems, organization, and the construction of visual meaning.

Her paintings often explore identity as something unstable and continually shaped by external and internal forces. Through layers of paint, collage, interruption, and contrast, she creates images that move between presence and fragmentation.

Her work has been exhibited in the United States, Argentina, and Chile, including recent juried exhibitions at TAG Gallery in Los Angeles and international exhibitions through Exhibizone.

She is currently based in Georgia, USA.
